    Dude, this thing is awesome! It's really intuitive to use (to be fair I did read the user manual which presents the concepts very well (even if it's not the greatest translation). The menus make sense and are easy to navigate. For my purposes I am looking at serial data which is idle high, so I'm triggering on falling edge. I love the cursors stuff, and cursors work in Delayed Scan mode!! (What you are looking at is proof that I'm running at 115,200 bps, 8.68us is the calculated time for 1 bit (in the magnified portion), the scope shows 8.7us in the cursors info (curB-curA). Works for me lol... I haven't even checked out the tools available under the Measure menu yet, so I can probably get it as accurate as I want, and I also suspect that if I look at the exported .csv data, it will have more significant figures there too, but I don't need more than I have at the moment). I like how even though it reverts to tracking mode for cursors (most of the time for analog signals that is probably what you want anyway) if you switch it back to manual it is smart enough to remember your cursor settings. The only thing that was a little strange to me was when I tried to trigger on both edges, it seemed to randomly choose an edge, rather than always triggering on the first one (the data comes in 2 seconds apart so that should be plenty of time). I'll have to look at it more, probably something I'm doing wrong there. It's nice to be able to display both analog channels and a digital channel at the same time. Been using normal and single sweep modes (I have a test setup that sends new serial data every couple of seconds, it is extremely useful to watch what is being transmitted. I sent some known 8-N-1 values so I could verify that I was recognizing start and stop bits (low and high, respectively). I haven't I played with the sampling or acquisition yet, or the math functions (I probably won't need them too much, though the filter cleanup is cool (LP, HP, BP, BR)). Nor have I looked at the programmers manual yet. Never had a scope that could take screenshots and save them to a thumb drive before :). That's fun! (Kinda weird using the onscreen keyboard, but I change one letter in the filename, then rename it when I get it on the PC, much faster that way). Haven't played with saving the scope's current parameters yet, but honestly, it's easy enough to set up that I won't need it much. Probably more for if you are using a bunch of these at work, and you need to pass settings files around. Still cool to have though. I have Matlab, but I haven't come up with a reason to save out the waveform data yet and bring it in there, but I'm sure I'll need it. Haven't used a scope since the early nineties, so, um, yeah, the whole concept of 'digital storage' is working for me. LOL. Oh and the first thing I did was change the skin to the cool blue one, and set the screensaver to two minutes. :) I've barely scratched the surface but I am already in love. I am still going through all the digital channels to make sure all the logic analyzer clips and connectors work on all channels (I'm sure they will). I wish I had some questions for you but I don't; I'll keep you in mind if I run into problems though. From TwoDogs Robotics.
