The DG1000Z Series Waveform Generators adds to RIGOL's extensive portfolio of feature rich test and measurement equipment. Powered by Rigol's innovative SiFi technology, the DG1000Z is ideal for low frequency testing applications requiring high signal fidelity, low noise floor and long arbitrary waveform length. The 2 channel DG1000Z series features Best-In-Class memory depth of 2 MPts on the DG1022Z or 8 Mpts on the 30 and 60 MHz models, all with an available option for 16 Mpts. optional to facilitate deeper, more intricate arbitrary waveforms and includes up to 160 built-in waveforms for quick and easy access to more predefined signals. These generators provide +/-1ppm frequency stability and -125dBc/Hz phase noise for high signal fidelity and low noise, predictable signal generation. The DG1000Z series delivers up to 200 MSa/s sample rate and 14 bits vertical resolution allowing users to achieve fine resolution and signal detail while emulating small voltage changes on a large output range. Available in models up to 60 MHz [The DG1062Z (60MHz)], these generators offer a wide range of modulations including AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK and PWM.

RIGOL's innovative Sifi technology can generate any waveform point by point, undistorted restore signal, accurate and adjustable sampling rate, reduce the signal jitter generated by traditional DDS signal source, and the jitter can be as low as 200ps.

It supports scanning output from low frequency to high frequency or from high frequency to low frequency. The scanning type includes linear, logarithmic and step. It can set the "mark" frequency to meet the needs of more amplitude frequency test applications. Burst mode function provides N-cycle, infinite and gating three types of pulse strings.

Modulation types include am, FM, PM, ask, FSK, PSK and PWM, and support internal and external modulation sources to meet the needs of more teaching or communication system testing.

Built-in 7-bit frequency meter

It provides 7-bit frequency meter measurement function, which can measure the frequency, period, duty cycle, positive pulse width, negative pulse width and other parameters of external input signal, and supports the statistics of measurement results. The frequency meter can work simultaneously with the dual channel output.

Arb Editing and Creation Tips For Ultra Station and the DG1000Z Family
The DG1Z arbitary waveform generators feature SiFi technology. This allows you to set the sample rate and points in an arbitrary waveform enabling easy waveform creation and editing with Rigol Ultra Station Software. Here is an example that can help you build a waveform and learn some of the tricks to using Ultra Station.
