The DS8000-R Series Oscilloscopes combine best in class sampling and memory depth with a high density form factor enabled by our new UltraVision II architecture and innovative Phoenix Chipset. With 350 MHz, 1 GHz, and 2 GHz models each with 4 analog channels the DS8000 Series brings RIGOL’s UltraVision II performance to the high channel count, research, and automation applications. Built for high density, the DS8000-R ships with 1 unit and 2 unit rack mounts included and does not include any probes. The DS8000-R includes all of the analog analysis capabilities of the MSO8000 including Jitter and Real-time Eye Analysis (at 1 or 2 GHz), zone triggering, 6 instruments in one, Enhanced FFTs, color grading, and histograms all supported by the high sample rate, deep memory, and full memory measurements. The DS8000-R Oscilloscopes come with all the hardware to rack mount individually or side by side creating a high density 8, 2 GHz channels per 1U of 19" rack space. With additional synchronization modules, large systems can be built while minimizing jitter and timing offset between instruments or channels. This provides incredible customization and value in systems requiring high channel, high speed synchronous sampling.

The DS8000-R Series with the DS8000-R-JITTER option enables Jitter and Real-Time Eye analysis. Debug subtle timing effects in your high speed clock and digital data lines by visualizing error sources with the eye diagram, histogram, and jitter trend. Combine these visualization tools with direct measurements of the most common jitter and eye parameters.

The DS8000-R Series provides decoding on up to 4 serial buses simultaneously. The DS8000-R provides the option of viewing traffic in a comprehensive event table. Choose from our expanded bus list including RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, LIN, CAN, FlexRay, I2S, and MIL-STD-1553. Add to that search and mark capabilities for the most common serial buses to debug systems quickly and easily.

The FFT capability on the DS8000-R utilizes up to 1 million points for fine resolution. The DS8000-R Series advanced user controls makes it easier to find signals of interest in the frequency domain. The color FFT function provides a probability colorization that highlights transient and hopping RF signals much like a real-time spectrum analyzer.
