Spectrum Analyzer for Visualization

DSA800
Rigol's DSA800 Series spectrum analyzers redefine the product category by setting new standards for performance and price. The DSA800 family features a widescreen display, compact design, and easy-to-use interface making it ideal for benchtop or field apps in RF and wireless testing and production. The spectrum analyzer offers the ability to measure smaller signals using our digital IF filter, which allows for smaller bandwidth settings and reduces displayed noise levels. The DSA815 distinguishes between signals with a frequency difference as little as 10 Hz. The DSA832, DSA832E, and DSA875 have a DANL (displayed average noise level) down to -161 dBm (typical). In addition, Rigol offers great options including an EMI filter and quasi-peak detector kit, VSWR measurement package, and tracking generator ("-TG" version) for all of these models. A Preamplifier is standard on all models in the family. Whether your application is radio verification at 455 MHz or monitoring the 3rd harmonic of 2.4 GHz signals find the right spectrum analyzer in the DSA800 Series.
Product Feature Customer Benefit
Noise floor as low as -161 dBm View lower powered signals (harmonics, interference sources) and ease trouble-shooting.
View lower powered signals (harmonics, interference sources) and ease trouble-shooting.   Displayed Average Noise Level determines the lowest power level an analyzer can resolve. It is effected by settings including PreAmplifiers, Attenuation, and RBW. On the DSA800 Series, Typical Normalized DANL is as low as -161 dBm with the standard preamp activated on the 3.2 and 7.5 GHz models.
EMI PreCompliance measurements (option) Use FCC bandwidths, EMI filter, and QuasiPeak Detector to make PreCompliance measurements during the design process saving time and money getting new products to market.
Use FCC bandwidths, EMI filter, and QuasiPeak Detector to make PreCompliance measurements during the design process saving time and money getting new products to market.   The Rigol DSA series of spectrum analyzers are ideal for performing near-field probing, conducted, and emitted precompliance measurements.

Add the S1210 PreCompliance software, Near Field Probes (NFP-3), and the EMI-DSA800 option to make complete EMI PreCompliance measurements with the DSA800 Series analyzers.
Down to 10Hz Minimum Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) Provides high resolution to separate signals with similar frequencies enabling easier signal identification
Provides high resolution to separate signals with similar frequencies enabling easier signal identification   Resolution Bandwidth sets the distance between measurements in frequency. This is important, for instance, when you need to differentiate between 2 carriers that are only 50 Hz apart. They can't be viewed as distinct signals with a RBW setting as large as the separation.

Tracking Generator and VSWR options measurement options Low cost additions provide the ability to test cables, antennas, filters, and active components. VSWR option automates standing wave parameter measurements.
Low cost additions provide the ability to test cables, antennas, filters, and active components. VSWR option automates standing wave parameter measurements.   Having an integrated RF source that is synchronized with the spectrum analyzer to test frequency response of components is an important feature for a spectrum analyzer. Analyzers refer to the source as a tracking generator. A signal source that generates a carrier that tracks with the analyzer's measurements.
Tracking Generators are included on the models ending in "-TG". They can not be added later. The DSA800-VSWR measurement feature is a software option than can be added at any time to automate reflectivity measurements.
